T hey spent the morning packing up all the essentials needed to celebrate; wildflowers that had grown in their yard all summer, ribbons and scraps of fabric they hand-dyed together, cheese, fruits, bread, their favorite beer, and their best friend, Ned. They spent the afternoon hiking through the wild, carrying only what they needed. They held a quiet ceremony amongst an evergreen pine forest and gold-flickering aspens. After exchanging their vows, they settled into a grove, shared a charcuterie, and beamed about their beautiful journey home.
